Writer's Block Hack #5 - Take the scenic route

Take a scenic train ride, or any scenic public transport ride to somewhere you don't normally travel to, and one that gives you a pleasurable view. I got this hack inspiration from the best selling author Elizabeth Gilbert. She has full credit for this advise. But I have to agree with her in that it does work. 

As you gaze outside the window there is a certain element of calm that comes over you when you're away from the bustle of streets and away from the people who you normally talk to. And provided you take a break from your electronic devices while on the ride you may just surprise yourself with a writing idea or two.
